United Claw Out Hard Fought Win!

Saturday saw Communities United's Under 10'S get a result against Unicorn Athletic. They badly needed this one after a poor start against Fletcher Moss B last week. The Team came out with a real desire to win on Saturday to impress both the fans and the manager.

United went down to an early goal after a long ball broke through the defence in the first third but as usual United like to do things the hard way. They came out for the second third of the game with the belief they could score a goal and they did, shortly after the break.

Last week against Fletcher Moss they were very weak in the tackle but for this game the lads were really up for it. From back to front they all worked hard and grinded a result out in the end after going behind yet again.

The match was decided though by what may prove to be the strike of the season. Max Momber took a shot from the half way line which he blasted into the top corner to earn United an impressive win against a big strong Unicorn side.

Next week United travel away to Ashton on Mersey who currently sit joint top of the table. We all hope to see a good performance from the lads this week to match Saturdays win!
