'Skip' & 'Dribble' live on Planet Playmakers™ and participate in a multitude of healthy games/activities as well as eating and drinking the correct types of food and drink. They lead a happy life, full of energy and enthusiasm. Both run around enjoying their time playing together and having fun. As far as the children are concerned, 'Skip' & 'Dribble' are a picture of health, happiness and fun.
On the other hand, 'Solar Flare and his Gravitational Force' is a dreary soul. He lazes on the couch eating burgers and chips and drinking lots of fizzy drinks. His movement is lethargic and slow, as he never does any exercise! His aim is to target children and lead them astray into a life of laziness and unhealthy activities such as playing computer games all day, watching hours of TV and eating lots of fast food, i.e. unhealthy food. 'Solar Flare and his Gravitational Force' tries to invade Planet Playmakers™ from time to time to lure children away from 'Skip' & 'Dribble' but it always fails as our two space mates overpower 'Solar Flare and his Gravitational Force' by using their special devices……
Moon Boots - to help children get active: walking, skipping, running etc. Children love the 'Lunar Hoops' game!
Galactic Gloves - to help children: catch, throw and manipulate items
Astro-Notes - music to dance, play and exercise to. The musical notes are bubble-like and when they pop they release music into the atmosphere. Solar Flare hates music as it makes children happy.
Supersonic Goggles - Red Goggles: helps children to visualise objects (like Solar Flare and his force) and move accordingly. Blue Goggles: helps to deflect Solar Flare's attempts to get children to eat unhealthy food.
Another way of getting rid of 'Solar Flare and his Gravitational Force' is by singing the Playmakers™ song which the children will quickly learn.
Solar Flare hates songs!!
The Playmakers Song
Skip and Dribble are here today
Jump on the planet and hear them say
Boys and Girls come out to play
And keep Solar Flare away, away
And keep Solar Flare away’
Postscript ...
Children, listen ...'Solar Flare' is coming ...we need to:
" Use our Moon Boots to stamp the ground and shake him away
" Use our Galactic Gloves to bounce the ball and bounce him away
" Use our Supersonic Goggles to find a space and hide away
" Use the Astro Notes or sing the Playmakers™ song, and move around quickly to shield ourselves from him
"Phew he's gone. Well done everybody!" A big cheer for Skip & Dribble."
