United Finish Off In Style

Wednesday saw Communities Utd. finish off a successful league campaign with a 5-0 thrashing of Didsbury Juniors. New player Sam Brunt bagged four goals and looks certain to be a success if he continues to put in these impressive displays.

After a long lay off from League matches, Utd. had to make sure they took nothing for granted. A some what uncomfortable start saw them give possession away and waste chances but after the first 5 minutes they soon got into their stride.

Goalkeeper Thomas Taylor barely had anything to do all evening but did play his part with a couple of good saves. Taylor seems to be improving with every game and his confidence is now filtering through to the team.

Dean Musa also managed to get himself on the scoresheet once again and proved why he has been a valuable member to the team all season. Didsbury gave it their all throughout but never managed to do any damage to Utd. With Utd now looking to promotion, games may not be so easy as they have been this season, so they must keep up this form right through.

The Utd. lads now look forward to end of season honours and a good evening out together before their pre season starts up.
